Mushrooms.... lots and lots of mushrooms. That would suggest water or otherwise dampness. Don't know how that helps, but there it is.

35 feet is large, but not so large that it would guarantee certain death if we fell. How long are the ropes in our adventure packs? Would it be safer to send one of us across with a rope to drop down on the other side, and hoist to the cavern floor from our side? I'm sure that those mushrooms represent some kind of danger - poison, most likely, even if we don't eat them.

Whoever we send out first should be someone with good acrobatics/athletics, because I'm sure that's the roll they'd have to make if the rope bridge is a trap. Once again, I nominate Durzo. ;)

That's a lot of shrooms *blink*

Are any of us trained in either nature or dungeoneering. Maybe we can identify the mushrooms by how they look, to determine if they pose us any danger *shrug*

I have some familiarity with poisonous fungi from my days as an assassin.

I have rope and am willing to tie it around my waist and run across the bridge. I also can move stealthily at full speed with one of feats so if it matters I can do it quietly.

This is the first time I've seen the map. I don't think it was revealed when we played.

Is the red thing just below us more arrow slits?

Okay, so there is probably a trap or something that will catapult us from the left to the right into the chasm. This might explain the dead body parts opposite us in the chasm.
Are there any signs of traps? I am thinking a pendulum or spring mechanism that will launch us into the chasm.
I have nature skill. Does that tell me anything about the mushrooms? Are they hazardous to walk around? Will they attack?

[checks astro's nature skill]
There is a wide variety of fungi down there. Some of them definitely look poisonous. Some of them are unlike any mushroom you have ever seen, growing to be the size of a normal human. There definitely seems to be some clusters of them, as well

and that is an arrow slit there

Where is the bridge?

Never mind I didn't have the whole map open.
