Not sure if you guys remember what the map looks like, but as you venture south past the bodies of your fallen enemies, to the east is a set of open double doors. Looking through them, the symbol of Torog glares at you from the other side of a large cavern. Painted on the wall in a dark pigment, this 15 foot tall symbol graces the stone wall of a building. There's no sign of motion in the cavern, except for the pulsing green light that comes from the bottom of the cavern, filling the cave. From what you can see, the chasm is filled with mushrooms of all sizes, many of them glowing with phosphorescence. It smells terrible. As you peer across, you hear a muffled scream from the building featuring the symbol of Torog. It has no doors or windows that you can see, but a coarse rope bridge stretches across the chasm

How long/deep is the chasm?
Does the course rope bridge look stable?

That rope bridge sure does seem like a trap to me. Are any of us capable of flight/levitation? Do we have a rope to attach to somebody if they choose to venture out onto the bridge?

We should quickly disguise ourselves as the clay guys and one at a time make our way across. I can use a spell to help change the color of our outfits.
Although, we should get across as quickly as possible to investigate the muffed sounds.

Now might be a good time to remind you that there was an alarm set off at the beginning of the last encounter by one of the clay scouts.

Well, the most agile of us, as it is applicable to this situation, would be the rogue... we sure do like to send him out first, don't we? LOL

"parley" as in pirates of the Caribbean? I doubt this would work. We do have rope. Rope is part of the standard pack.
Is there anything on the ceiling to attach a rope? As in, can we luke skywalker across the chasm?

Do we have time for a disguise?

As you peer into the chasm, you can see pieces of corpses and skeletons scattered on and through the mushrooms at the far base of the wall, as if someone had thrown bodies across the edge. The chasm itself is 35 feet deep. The rope bridge appears sturdy, and is about 20 feet above the bottom in the middle.

It would be exceedingly difficult to skywalker across the cavern. You notice that the mushrooms numerous along the cavern floor- pretty densely packed down there

also keep in mind that the homonculi are small creatures (which may affect your ablility to disguise)

I think we should cross in pairs, making sure that we have people with ranged attacks covering the first group as it crosses.

durzo, you should put a glue pot on the end of a rope, stick it to the ceiling, and then swing across like spiderman. This can be done while rukt and and nook charge across. Jukka and the warlock can go across after the first pair cross. The second pair can belay the first pair going across using rope. Draw and Busty can provide ranged support. If you see a guy holding on a stone on a rope, kill him first.

It seems like we are missing some information. Is there something that would be obvious if we were actually there that we don't know? I don't think we know how wide of a chasm it is that we have to cross.
Edit: Do you want to post a picture of the room?

I put this in the encounter 1 thread but it should probably be here.
