So jukka and my son are interested in getting in on the D&D. Maybe tomorrow would be a good time, since we'll be missing some people, and it will be an isolated encounter.
Noodles, how did you get the map into maptools?

I 'cut' it out of the PDF and saved it as a PNG. Then I go to Map>Edit>Background... then loaded the image from there. Why do you ask? Are you going to run something for them? If you need anything don't hesitate to call me (skype), or send me a gmail email and tell me to get on skype. if I can, I will.

I'd like to suggest that either you or I could DM a side adventure for the kids, if we get up to speed on the maptool.

So are you going to scale it for the number/experience of the players? Are you planning on playing a character yourself to add strength, or should I?

My son rolled a Dragonborn Swordmage. I have a Human Ranger archer class that I rolled up for grins the other night.
